Youth Academy
The Tauranga Youth Academy is a registered Alternative Education Program offering a full Academic and Elective program. The school caters for 17 students who have been alienated from main stream schooling. Many young people today struggle in the main stream environment and find themselves being expelled for various anti-social behaviour. Counselling Centre
The Tauranga City Counselling Centre has staff trained to provide counselling for couples, individual adults, adolescents and children in all areas of counselling. This service was begun in March 1999 and caters for short and long term counselling at a nominal hourly rate to suit the individual client.
